Amasus may process special and/or sensitive personal data, such as your Citizen Service Number (BSN).
Purpose and legal basis for processing personal data
Amasus processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- To process your payments
- To comply with legal obligations
Automated decision-making
Amasus does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that could have significant consequences for individuals. These are decisions made by computer programs or systems without human involvement (for example, an Amasus employee).
Amasus uses the following software systems:
System 5 (secure email program), Shipnet, XpertSuite, Actrion
How long we retain personal data
Amasus does not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention period for all personal data: seven years. For job applications, Amasus applies the legally prescribed retention period of four weeks.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Amasus does not sell your data to third parties and will only provide it if necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
We conclude data processing agreements with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality. Amasus shares data with agencies and other service providers worldwide, taking into account proportionality and legal grounds.

Amasus uses functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file stored in the browser of your computer, tablet, or smartphone upon your first visit to this website.
Amasus uses cookies with purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website functions properly and that, for example, your preferences are remembered. These cookies are also used to optimize the website. No personal data is stored in this process.

Accessing, modifying, or deleting your date
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Amasus.
You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or objection to: privacyofficer@amasus.nl.
To verify your identity, we ask you to include a copy of your ID with your request. Please black out your photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN) in this copy to protect your privacy.
We will respond as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.

Amasus takes the protection of your data seriously and implements appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification.
